Derian Hatcher Named Flyers Captain

Flyers defenseman Derian Hatcher has been named the captain of the team. He becomes the 14th captain of the Flyers in franchise history. Check back later today for more information.

Thanks for the memories is my guess. I don't think he is coming back. They set a deadline for him and his symptoms still are the same week after week. I think he is done.

If he is back, he can come back. I just don't see it happened. Primeau knows that this team will need another forward for the playoffs. They will keep him in the organization somehow. This isn't the Lindros deal all over again. If he can come back, I'd welcome it.

Everyone remembers what he did in the last playoff run we had. :nod:
