In tonight's 12-4 Yankee win over Angels, Alex Rodriguez led the way with an amazing 3 homers and 10 batted in. I know it's early, but he did say he was gonna focus on his hitting in the offseason, and just maybe he could get back to his .300/50/140 days in Texas.
I saw the game. He had a 2 run, 3 run homers and a grand slam by the 6th inning. There was a huge buzz when he got up later in the game. People wanted to see him hit a solo homer to hit for the "home run cycle".
He's showing signs of having a monster year... last week he went 5 for 6 w/ 2 homers and about 6 RBI one night.
If he finds his groove watch out.

It was a monster performance, but I hope it doesn't last.
I like what the critics are still saying - "do something in the playoffs, you virus."

Very true!
Actually I think I was mistaken in my description above. I think it was the fourth inning that A-rod hit the grand slam.... that means he had a 2, 3, HR and a grand slam in 4 innings
