Tuuka Rask made 53 saves in a shutout effort against the Swedes to single handedly beat them to make it to face Canada. The final score was 1-0 in OT. Thoughts?

Caught the end of the game, was kinda flipping between this and the Leaf game. Based on Miller and McGuire's comments didn't sound like a good game to watch since they were calling it the worst game ever. Anyways any time a goalie gets a 53 save performance, your impressed, but a 53 save performance and a shutout, you've gotta tip your hand to the goalie, in this case Rask(and no it's not only because he is a future Maple Leaf :boogie: )

Although if the Finns allow another 53 shots against a stronger Canadian team it won't even be close, unless Rask pulls a rabbit out of his hat again. I predict Canada will once again beat the Finns handily and go on to the finals.

Now to watch the U.S./Czech game w/the ref being from Canada, so it shouldn't be a badly officiating game and should be a good one.

The battle of Leaf prospects resume with Rask vs. Pogge. The Fins had to go to OT against Sweden and I hope that adds to their fatigue. Canada is rested after not having to play in the quarter-finals.

Now would be a nice time for the 1-0 win for Canada with Pogge with the shutout and Rask making 40 something saves.

It would be nice, but I think our country is a little capable of more, no offence to the abilities of Mr. Rask.
