PENGUINS TAKE MARATHON GAME

Defenceman Christoph Schubert scored two powerplay goals... Jason Spezza was kept off the scoreboard for the first time in 23 games... And Binghamton was heading into their longest game. The signs weren't looking good for the Binghamton Senators in Game 3 of the quarter-final series against the Penguins in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. After 112 minutes of play, Colby Armstrong beat Senators' goalie Ray Emery for the game-winner and cut Binghamton's series lead in half to two games to one. The East Division series resumes Wednesday in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Make sure to watch the action on the Internet on the AHL's b2 Networks. In the other East Division series (playoff schedule), the Philadelphia Phantoms hold a 2-1 series lead over the Norfolk Admirals.
