I know they are deemed the "favourite" from Las Vegas, however since they have been underrated, picked against and not talked about in the national media all season, I want that to continue this week as well. There's nothing like being the underdog and flying under the radar (i.e. the Patriots in 2001).
Denver (I'd imagine) is the SB favourite on Vegas Lines right now Junes, along with the national media. You should know being an Oiler fan, you can run under the radar for a long time, but eventually the East Coast takes notice ;). Seattle without Alexander doesn't have the running game that meant the world to them this season. Carolina is a helluva team, but I don't see them being considered the favourites (though, they are my pick, over the Bronco's in a classic). There's no way the Steelers get pimped to win this game.

The Steelers are a lot better than a 6th seed. If Big Ben doesn't get hurt in the middle of the season they probably win their division.
Carolina is starting to look like the Patriots the last few years, they find a way to win in the playoffs no matter if they're at home or on the road. It might not be pretty, but they get the job done. The Seattle/Carolina game could easily go either way, and I'm still flip-flopping on that pick.

I can't speak for Alberta, but this part of BC isn't although our USTV stations are mostly Seattle based and they are going nuts.

I think I'm the only football fan in the city not on the Seahawks bandwagon. For people without satelite, the Seahawks are the only team on TV every week, so, yes, a lot of people follow them.
I hate them though. I take a sadistic pleasure in watching them lose actually; even more so than the Steelers. I don't think there could've been any matchup for the Superbowl that would've disapointed me more; two teams that I hate meeting up for it.. bleh. Go Steelers! :shrug: :snore:
