View Full Version : What are you eating right now??
There's a thread like this at another forum I post at. Its kinda a cool idea and I like hearing what kind of stuff everyone eats.
Post what you are eating at the moment or what you had at your last meals.
I am not eating right now, but I had burritos and grape juice for dinner. :) Tasty.

chip-truck fries. dee-freakin'-licious. throw some salt and vinegar on there for extra goodness. ps- does anyone actually know what vinegar is made from/how its made? I honestly have no idea. And it only occurred to me yesterday that I slap this stuff on my food and have NO idea what the root of it is. Anyone?
Originally vinegar was wine that went sour. It can be made of anything that has natural sugars capable of fermentation.

Is the owner, Lou, a really sweet dude? :laughing:It's actually a bunch of Asians that run the joint... I don't know which one is Lou. (if any). The pretty young girl that works the register is definitely "sweet" in many ways :)
But I don't think that's how they named the sandwich.
IIRC it was chicken cutlet w/ melted mozzerela cheese on a roll, with fried onions, sweet peppers, and honey mustard. It was decent, although their honey mustard sauce was a little too tangy for me - it dominated the sandwich. They have a million sandwiches to choose from (not to mention 2 big buffets filled with great food). They just opened 3 months ago and have put a hurting on the other local lunch spots.

I love perogies!! I steam them first, then fry them in olive oil, remove the nicely crisp perogies to a plate with papertowels to soak up the excess oil, then into the oil put finely diced yellow onion. Oh by the way I buy the cheese perogies. When the onion is nice and golden brown and crisp I strain and shake over the perogies on plates and serve with sour cream.... My kids love them!!!

For all of you that enjoy HOT chicken wings here is the absolute best recipe. This is from a good friend of mine from Peace River. Try it and you won't be disappointed.
Into the blender...
2 cups - Lousiana hot sauce
1/2 cup - diced onion
5 tbs - jalapenos
5 tbs - cayanne pepper
5 tbs - chili powder
1 oz - tequila
Blend well then slowly stir in 7 tbs of chili pepper and let sit for one hr. (to thicken).
Be scared. Very scared. *wink*
Face it - your eyes will water when you open the oven to check on the wings. Great stuff!
