For all of you that enjoy HOT chicken wings here is the absolute best recipe. This is from a good friend of mine from Peace River. Try it and you won't be disappointed.

Into the blender...

2 cups - Lousiana hot sauce
1/2 cup - diced onion
5 tbs - jalapenos
5 tbs - cayanne pepper
5 tbs - chili powder
1 oz - tequila

Blend well then slowly stir in 7 tbs of chili pepper and let sit for one hr. (to thicken).

Be scared. Very scared. *wink*

Face it - your eyes will water when you open the oven to check on the wings. Great stuff!

Sounds good.

Cup of Oatmeal, about a cup of skim milk, tablespoon of all natural peanut butter.. nuked it for 1:30. Mixed it all up and it tasted great.

Fairly low cal (~100 for the PB, another 100 for the milk, and 150 for the Oatmeal.. so 350 all together) and very filling.

I think the people next to me were vegetarians because they didn't seem to appreciate my "mmmmm" noises every time I had a piece of steak.

I'll be going back to Eastside Mario's again fairly soon.

Well I did a little gumshoe investigation of my own on "the works (http://www.stevex.org/restaurants/ShowRestaurant.aspx?ID=607)".... Most seem to agree that you have to wait friggin forever for a hamburger.

If as grim says they are serving non-alcoholic drinks I would never wait that long for a burger.

However I did notice they server poutine! ohhhhhhh yeaaaahhhh, I know what "poutine" means :D

Their web site is also perhaps the most extraordinarily horrible web site I have ever visited: http://www.worksburger.com/ which is kind of besides the point.

I'll take a nice medium rare aged porterhouse over some burger any day. :)

I was in Waterloo this past weekend and laughed when I saw that they call Poutine "Quebec fries" on the menu at the few places that serve it. They also bake the fries / poutine with shredded mozza....that's not poutine that's a crime.

Poutine is only Poutine when it's served with St Alberts cheese curds and not baked for the love of James...

I once knew a guy that worked at a Kraft sub-factory of some sort, the way he described it was this - The Powder for KD, is essentially reduced and dehydrated Kraft single slices, only with a dozen more chemicals and preservatives in it, and Oh... those Kraft Singles.... they?re actually grey in colour when they?re being made... it's only until they add the truck loads of ultra-violet orange PMS #137 colouring into the mix that we get the stuff you find on the mouse dropping splattered grocery store shelves. To cut down on seafood bills, I've been trying to clone my own shrimp ... or the Penaeus stylirostris as we shrimp cloners call them. Just have to figure out the OPT-05/BstN I inconsistencies in the genetic DNA variations within the captive strain and then.... it's BBQ time baby.

Ah haaaaaaaaaaaa!!! Got it. Endless free shrimp. Now... on to the basteless chimpanzee.

Meal plans aren't what they used to be. At one time you could get anything you wanted for a flat price per semester. My nephew's meal plan money ran out well before the end of the semester.

So that's the problem in Ottawa. The team's starving by playoffs.

Seriously if your hungry I'll mail you some KD, or granola bars, or small roasting chicken.

OK food drive, come on, everyone chip in.

Where do we send it?

I went to the new Boston Pizza in that other city tonight. I ordered the Chipolte Popcorn Shrimp as an appetizer, which didn't come out until my main course of Tuscan Pizza did, so the manager offered me a complimentary dessert, which I took advantage of and got the New York Raspberry Cheesecake. My guest had the Thai Salad and shared some with me. I also wasn't charged for my drinks for whatever reason, so it was a good evening out at the BP.

Not too tough if it's cooked right. Slab on some salt and you've got yourself quite the meal. Moose sausages taste completely different. The ones I ate that day was honey garlic.

Yoata, I've never tried Elk.
