View Full Version : GDT Edm vs Van (12/1)
Huge game. Could be a turning point in the season after the disapointment last night. We really need to make sure that we take 2 points away from Vancouver in regulation tonight. We do that, and we're suddenly tied for 2nd in the division and only 3 points back of first. We can't afford to lose to Vancouver at home, because we have a lot of problems playing in Vancouver.
I think this game will be a real litmus test for the team. Vancouver played a late game last night, and was flying through the night to get here. They should be tired. Vancouver should be expected to come out flat, and hopefully the Oilers can captalize on that with an early goal.

Vancouver will probably have a slow start..but whats new? :D
Currently there is alot of pressure on the Canucks to win
So this game will be a hard fought affair

The new Oilers' goalie needs a nickname. Tylenol and Juicy were easy to make up but what can I make out of Michael Morrison? MiMo, Michelle, M&M, Candy, Candee, stripper, brass pole, hmmm, I have to keep thinking on this one.
The Oily bunch are going down faster than PDO falls down after one beer. :D
Now, that's how to trash talk.
Edit: Juicy is back, yaa Juicy. Even John Garrett called him Juicy. :D

This was a fairly good game. Oilers seemed to have some trouble in the start of the third but other than that it was pretty solid. Good to see jussi play well, after the first goal he totally settled into his game. Curcial win tonight, with the standings so tight... Oil are only 3 away from being 1st.

A much needed win by the Oil tonight. Even though the 'nucks came to E-town tired after a win against the Avs the night before we still needed the points.
Even Georges was on fire!
