Nov. 5th
1-0 Loss
Nov. 7th
4-3 Loss
Well, atleast we lost both by one goal. Each game could have gone either way.
The Canucks only had 21 shots on goal in Mondays game, and only 23 shots on goal in Saturdays game. Your not going win against the Calgary wild with those low shot totals.
During Monday's game, we made them play an open game..and the Nucks were in it till the last 5 minutes. Linden, Allen, and Ohlund took pathetic penalties. This took us out of the game, no comeback today.
The team has looked uninspired, and flat. Terrible turnovers, no passion.
Lets hope they get it together, and dominate. This team has been ordinary since the beginning of the season, and needs to return to dominance

Yah I?ve been disappointed with the top line. Naslund and Morison are not producing for my pool. =]
What?s up with that line, if anything I was expecting them to be better then past years?

Bertuzzi is the main reason. He hasn't been confident. However, the last game he had two points(should have been three)..and played well. Lets hope this is his turning point.
Naslund also had a good game, but it appears Bertuzzi is bringing down the line.
It will take time for the chemistry to work again

Penalty trouble late in the game yesterday. Obstructing the progress of a player who dos not have possesion of the puck is interfernece.

Very true
Its amazing how stupid the Canucks can be..at times..for an "elite" team
Also, how they let teams back into games..and dont close the book
The record may be very good, but the team needs a lot of work

Linden and Ohlund were both called for crosschecks (bs calls) that were on players who had the puck.
Allen was called for interference, another bs call since Iginla was doing the same thing done to him. (pushing and shoving).

I didn't see the game on Monday, just read the reports, my little rant on interfenerce was based on the past few games where the Canucks have taken some interference penalties.
As TT stated for an "elite" team they sure do some dumb things.

I'm not saying any of those were smart plays, but I can certainly understand why they happened. First Calgary plays a very aggressive, physical style, and the Nucks want to, and I think have to, match that aggression and physicality, and I think that's what they were trying to do on each of those plays, and as well, Ohlund was sending a message about digging at the goaltender when he has the puck which McCarty was doing, and again I think any good dman has to do that, and it was nothing more than a good hard clean shoulder to the front of a player, which is again why it is so ridiculous to have it called crosschecking.
Add to that the fact that for the 5-10 mins before those penalties, the refs had made numerous non-calls on other aggressive, physical plays by both teams, and that brutal inconsistency/plain bad reffing puts the Canucks down 5-3 twice late in a tie game.
Again, I very rarely blame officiating, but if that's not the refs deciding the game, I don't know what is, I just don't see how you can fault the Canucks players for those plays.
