DALLAS -- The Edmonton Oilers could have centre Michael Peca back in the lineup for tomorrow's game with the Dallas Stars.
Peca, who sustained a mild concussion on a hit by Rick Nash in the first period of a 5-1 win over Columbus on Nov. 1, skated in Edmonton again yesterday. If Peca shows no ill effects from that workout when assessed by Dr. Dave Magee, he'll jump a jet to Texas and rejoin the team today.
Peca played just 2:36 against the Blue Jackets and has missed the first two games of this road swing, in Detroit and St. Louis.
CONKLIN HOME: The news isn't as good on goaltender Ty Conklin, who has returned to Edmonton from a conditioning stint in Hamilton after aggravating the groin injury that's nagged him since training camp.
Conklin reinjured himself Thursday against the Toronto Marlies at the Air Canada Centre.
