View Full Version : GDT Edm @ Stl (11/04)
Oilers are on a 4 game winning streak and are going to be playing one of the worst teams in the league tonight in St. Louis.
Oilers are down Peca, Bergeron and Cross, St. Louis is down Weight and Tkachuk.
Pronger plays his first game back in St. Louis; I'm expecting a huge night from horse #44 tonight, espeacilly with Bergeron and Cross both out. You have to imagine Semenov is going to get a lot of minutes tonight, and hopefully he can put them to some good use.

St. Louis is really having a slow season this year. Edmonton should be able to take this one, considering the way that they've been playing. It may be a good game, for MacT to allow some of the other D-men to get some more ice time, they called up Dan Smith and Dan Syvret... I really hope that Semonv takes this opportinuty to show what he can do to play more, I think hes a really talented D-men, and with 3 of the oilers regular D-men out this might be his chance to step up.
Marty Reasoner is going to miss the game as well.
Horcoff and Stoll will combine for over 40 minutes.
Smyth - Horcoff - Hemsky
Torres - Stoll - Dvorak
Moreau - Harvey - Pisani
Rita - Brodziak - Laraque
Just a guess.
2-0 on 4 shots
Stoll and Semenov thus far.

Good game tonight for all the oilers. Great to see semenov get a goal night. What a night by Stoll and Torres, they really have clicked these last couple games. The last goal by rita was a nice one, hopefully he can start scoring some more as well. Not much else to say about this game, it was pretty good.

Congrats Oil
3 points behind the Canucks  :boogie:
It's great to have one of these games to break up this long road trip.
Lalime sucked. So did Divis. But credit goes to the Oilers for having plenty of nice goals on great setups. The powerplay is still doing well (2/6 last night isn't bad). Stoll is awesome.
Now it's off to Dallas on Monday night. That'll be another tough test for the OIL.
We'll need to split the two games between Dallas and Nashville, and then folow it up winning the two "gimme's" between CBJ and Chicago. That'll set us up for a game against Colorado that we'll have to win, and a great possibility of taking 9 of 10 on the road in a period of a few days.

Chicago will be easy. They are downright terrible.
Columbus can play a spirited game, so dont take them too easy.
Colorado is playing good hockey. They have new confidence..thanks to the Canucks :burning: :D
