I am from Bathurst, and I am going to predict, the Bathurst Titan, dead last the last two years in the QMJHL will somehow qualify for the Memorial Cup by either winning the Quebec league playoffs, or losing in the final to Moncton who is already in. :boogie:

When I first saw this thread, I thought it said "Bratwurst Titan will make it to Memorial Cup."

;) . I am going to watch them play tonight actually. Hopefully they get back on track after a loss.

This will be my last prediction for awhile I promise. :) Yeah I like to put myself on the line just for fun though. I also wanted to express my support for our local team in this small city I have lived in all my life save 3 years.

So how did they fair last night?

They won 5-2. They were outshot 33-31, but they controlled most of the play IMO. They did a good job avoiding penalties, and using their speed to pressure the other team into penalties. They were playing the expansion Saint John Seadogs.

Sorry bud, Fogdevils got that on lockdown.

The 19-27-3 Fogdevils sure have a lot of work to do if they want to even qualify for the QMJHL playoffs.

I saw Bathurst humiliate the Fog Devils Friday night in Bathurst. Did you travel to see the game? :D

Actually I did get it, but I was also curious if you ever travel to Bathurst to see our games.

No, I've never been to Bathurst.

Gotta hand it to the Fog Devils though. They're not playing overly bad for an expansion team.

Thats true. Expansion teams in junior leagues aren't always horrible though. This team would have been a lot better if Bergfors hadn't of made the Devils roster at the beginning of the year.

How's Bathurst doing anyways?

UPDATE
The Acadie-Bathurst Titan will not be making it to the Memorial Cup this year. They lost in seven games to Quebec in the semi-final. A win in the seventh game would have qualified the Titan, but they lost 8-1. So instead the QMJHL will send the host Moncton Wildcats and the Quebec Remparts, who are currently battling for their league championship.
