There are some pretty good FAs. Lindros, Brindamour, Horton, Crosby.

And try to use Laperriere as trade bait. He's doin pretty good right now, but I don't think he can keep it up. Maybe you can get a more solid RW, and possibly throw in Turgeon. Then just pick up a FA.

I already grabbed Vorobiev for Hunter and Tyutin for Leopold on D. But all players are on waivers till the 6th so I have to wait and see who I actually get. Maybe I'll try to grab Lindros and then trade him along w/Lapierierre for a solid RW.

I think you're right about Laperierre, he's on pace for about a 70 point season yet he only has a bit over 200 points in 12 years - he's likely to fall back to Earth soon. On the other hand, he is guaranteed PIM.

The other problem is sometimes these public leagues don't have a lot of trades (especially the late starters)... we'll have to wait and see how it pans out ini that respect.

OK - I put the hooks on Lindros dropping Barnaby.

That's 3 pending moves. Since we drafted last... we have 1st priority on the waiver wire, so I can make at least one of these claims guaranteed...

Also with the late start, I have plenty of games to make up so I definitely want to carry 5 d-men.

That's funny, I swear I just did exactly that before checking in here. :)

Here are my 4 pending moves, in order (again only #1 is a guaranteed move). After that I'll slide back down to 12 on the priority list. So unless the rest of the league is asleep on their feet, I probably will miss out on either Lindros or Vorobiev or both. (I don't think I'll have any problem grabbing Tyutin... he's not in high demand, but a better option than Leopold I think)

Thanks :) We're pretty over-stacked at center and left-wing. Right Wing we could use some help... depending on how the waiver moves pan out, I may try to make a package deal. If I get both Crosby and Lindros... a multi-player trade is probably in order, if I can find any takers.

I haven't checked out who was dropped yet, but there were a lot of moves right off the bat, which tells me there should be some trades to be had with this bunch.

PS - I forgot what a complete pain it is having Fernandez or Roloson. :rolleyes: Obviously I want Fernandez in there when he's playing but you never know who's playing when. So when all 3 of the G's have games (like today) I don't know whether or not to start Fernandez :burning:

I'd recommend dropping Vorobiev, whos been icy cold, and pickup Kotalik and his 8 goals for the right side. Also, we should drop Tyutin for Kalinin, who has 4 assists in his last 5 games, and should continue posting decent numbers.

You should probably drop Vorobiev or Barnaby for Schaefer. He's a LW that can fill in for one of the other guys and has been pretty good playing for Ottawa.

I also don't know the situation with Elias but he could be a good pickup in the long run. Assuming of course he returns to his usual form. I also don't think you can put on an IR list, so the roster may suffer till he gets back.

ok Vorobiev is dropped. I took Lehtinen, mainly because he plays both wings... and since this roto league started so late there is no need to hold back and bench guys. Until we catch up to pace (if that ever comes), everyone can play as much as possible... which makes multi-position players an advantage.

Also took Kotalik, dropped Barnaby.

I know another team wants Liles and Laperierre, so I'm going to investigate possible trades.

RE: Schaefer... we really need more finishers, we're already at the top in assists, but middle of the pack in goals. Schaefer only has 2, but I'll keep him on the watch list.

Mel, you need to get hoppin on this. Pitkanen was just dropped. You could pick him up and put him on IR and also drop Tkachuk. Then that leaves you with one open space and grab Lehtinen.

There are some other good guys on the wire but those realy stuck out to me.

Well Mel's is from last year so the league is no longer active. I don't think anyone can view the leagues I did because they aren't public. I joined custom leagues because I wanted to get the draft done quick and that seemed easier. Oh well, at least you guys know the teams that we have.
