Here's my rough estimate of leaf players who could be playing in the Olympics this year.

Mats Sundin
Tomas Kaberle
Aki Berg
Mikael Tellqvist
Eric Lindros
Jason Allison
Bryan Mccabe
Ed Belfour
Jeff O'niell
Ken Klee
Mariusz Czerkawski
Alexander Steen
Nik Antropov(If Kazakstan is in)

13 possible olympians. Not too shabby.

I thought there were issues around Antropov and military service so he has not been home to Kzakstan for many years? If there are would he be allowed to play?

Are you kidding? Belfour? O'Neill? Allison? Lindros? McCabe? Explain why and who they should replace if they're invited / added to Canada's camp.
Kazakstan is not in. Poland is not in. Klee, Kaberle and Sundin are probably the only three you'll see in Turin John.

Take a look at the list Canada submitted to the IIHF Ferret. Belfour, Allison, O'niell and Lindros are all on there. I said possible, not gaurunteed. Relax.

It's a possibility. All those guys are on the list, they will all be looked at.

I doubt there are any Leafs on Team Canada, maybe a longshot as Belfour as the 3rd goaltender, but that is only if Theodore has a completely dreadful season. McCabe is way too low on the Canadian depth chart, as shown in the World Cup last year..

Though I do think Sundin, Tellqvist, Kaberle, Klee and Berg will make their country's teams.

Yes, I'm sure Hockey Canada is desperate enough to be really 'looking at' two guys who can hardly skate (Allison & Lindros) for a quicker style of game / hockey played on a larger ice surface. Again, forgive me.

The lists are filled with a large amount of players because none can be added after. The chances of most of these Canadian players are slime, especially Belfour but if Lindros and others keep playing well I'm sure it will be tough not to consider them.

I know they're slim, but Ferret is making it out as if it's impossible. It's possible.

IMO, the players who will actually make their teams will be Sundin, Kaberle, Berg, Tellqvist, Klee and Mccabe if he keeps playing this way.
