My wife works at the local hospital. The past few days there have been a large number of babies born, so much so there is no room in the nursery as of today. Now counting back 35 - 40 weeks goes into last January, the middle of the lock out. At least we know what some fans were doing :laughing: :conspire: 8)

My wife and I have noticed that there seem to be an inordinate amount of pregnant women around right now, they're EVERYWHERE, and it's particularly exasperating for me since it makes her very jealous, we're planning on it, but not yet, and she's getting impatient. Who has time for that anyway right now, there's hockey games that need watching. :nod:

LOL There are more people born in Sept/Oct in western countries because it is 9 mo after the holiday season. So next time you meet someone born in Sept or early Oct you can chuckle a little at the thought.

Our 2nd Son will arrive on the scene, according to the Doc, December 25th :eek: SO you can add us to that stat. Btw, number 1 Son is My new avatar. Doesn't he already look like a dirty, rotten, and stinking Leaf fan? ;)

My uncle was born on Dec 25th.

Son #1 looks too cute to be a dirty rotten Leafs fan.

Don't worry, by the time he's old enough to understand hockey, the Leafs will actually be good again.:D

Interesting KB. Now that you mention it, there has been an increase in Baby Shower invites this year for the wife. Well, let's hope that for the sake of our natural resources, our economic stability, and the very well being of the planet, that a another Hockey lock-out NEVER happens again.
