Well, here we go.. the first time we see those pesky Stars this season. Turco played last night, and will be riding the bench tonight. Conklin is getting the start for the Oilers. Rita remains on the top line in place of the injured Ryan Smyth (who, may be out for up to a month..). Should be an interesting game, and one I'd call must win, because you knwo the game tomorrow isn't going to be any easier.

I think the Oilers will come out with a very strong effort tonight, which will start in goal with Conklins. No brain farts tonight, combined with a tired Dallas team will result in in a 4-0 win for the Oilers.

Sadly.

The Oilers were the better team, but Conklin let in 2 softies and Cross/Semenov both mucked up defesively on a deflection.

Horcoff is injured, no word on the seriousness, but we missed him for 2 periods.

2/3 of our top line is injured.. gotta love that kind of luck.

Maybe Markkanen should have full time duties? Conks hasn't been good at all thus far.

No reason why the Oil shouldn't have won this match. Some chinzy goals scored by the Stars and some excellent netminding by Hedberg gave the edge to the wrong team.

Horcoff is injured too? Thats a tough break. Especially since Smyth is also out. But, you guys have Peca..and he should play well.
