upgrade to 3.5

At some point in the relative near future, we'll be upgrading to vBulletin 3.5. This is a fairly major upgrade, and I'm not sure exactly how much impact it will have on the current site. I might have to re-install skins and re-edit numerous templates that I have modified. I know the chat will have to be re-integrated among other things. In short, I will probably need to do a lot of "adjusting" after the upgrade. How much, I won't know till the time comes. If you notice something different or something missing during this time, that's the reason.

Out of necessity, the site will be closed periodically, however I will try to keep down-time to a minimum, and keep the forum open for communication as much as possible.

The actual upgrade might happen this weekend or maybe next.

OK I have decided to go ahead and try to run this upgrade tonight if I have time, the forums may be down for a little while.

Again, things may look a lot different when I re-open... I don't know how much of my modifications will be gone when the upgrade is complete. Things could look quite different around here for a while... But again my main focus is to keep the site open as much as possible. And gradually re-install all modifications and hacks without disrupting communication too much.

back in action. There are a lot of things I need to iron out, to get things back to normal. I knew that would happen, even if you don't notice it. I'll be tinkering over the next week and try not to close the forums too much.
