Thank you all for the happy wishes guys and gals.

A lot has happened in our lives up here in sunny Cold Lake, one of the main reasons I have not been here all that much lately is due mainly to the fact that we have been thrashing on the house since end Aug early Sept.

After almost 25 years of working in and around a Military enviroment I have been offered a rather stable and well paying job overhauling industrial Gas Turbine engines, Jet engine to you guys that do not know what a gas turbine engine is. I will be basically doing what I am doing now that I have been transfered to the engine bay on base, taking them apart inspecting and rebuilding, which is what I originally wanted to do when I switched from the Army to the Air Force in 1988.

I will be employed in Airdrie just minutes North from Calgary.

That's great Rusty. It appears everything has come together nicely for you. Hopefully I'll grow up to be as lucky as you.

Can't wait to experience my first "Chinook".

It is a huge change after having been told what to do and how high to jump for 25 years!
