The Calgary Flames have added a little toughness to the blueline
Veteran defenceman Bryan Marchment has agreed to a one year deal with the the Flames. He's expected to be in Calgary on Wednesday.
Marchment attended the Toronto Maple Leafs training camp last month as a free agent but was not offered a contract. He spent the 2003-04 hockey season with Colorado and San Jose, scoring two goals and 14 points and 141 penalty minutes.
Marchment, a first round pick of the Winnipeg Jets in 1987, has also played for Chicago, Hartford, Edmonton and Tampa Bay.
