Cap relief coming, headcase gone, and the rookie Caledron will get more playing time this season. Mike James is an alright player, and apparently is solid defensively.

He also has a better field goal percentage and 3-pt percentage than Mr. Alston.

I think the big thing is getting rid of the salary he had, what, 5 more years at 26 million!!! That's ridiculous for an unproven point guard and if we are going with youth, then it's time we went full throttle which mean Jalen Rose is next to go.

Thank god we don't have to see stupid three balls being thrown up. Alston just isn't smart enough to be a point guard.

Not so much trading, but when the contract goes... so does he ;) Captain clutch whatever... we didn't make the playoffs... and 13 million a season for Jalen Rose is a huge waste of money.

As for Alston, he did take a lot of idiot 3 balls, just walking up to the 3 point line and letting her rip, which he made about 12% of the time.

BTW don't look now, but critics are starting to come around on Babcock... it must be a parallel universe or something :wave:

The Raptors would love to get Jalen's salary off their hands, but it ain't happening. Well the Raptors play their first pre-season game tonight. Let's see how the new guns, Graham and Charlie V do.
