The Edmonton Oilers have assigned eight players to their two American Hockey League affiliates.

Assigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs are Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers (G), Mathieu Roy (D), Jean-Francois Jacques (LW) and Marc-Antoine Pouliot (LW).

Going to the Iowa Stars are Kyle Brodziak (C), Matt Greene (D), Yan Stastny (C) and Zack Stortini (LW).

Schremp's production has really died down, and I don't see him making the show this year for that very reason. I'd love to see him here, but I'd also love to keep him an exclusive Oiler until he's 27 instead of 26. Once Jussi is fully healthy, I fully expect one of Rita or Winchester to be dealt. It appears Cross may just be done as an Oiler, but time will tell.
