View Full Version : GDT BoA (9/27)
Torres - Peca - Hemsky
Smyth - Horcoff - Rita
Moreau - Stoll - Pisani
Winchester - Schremp - Laraque
Pronger-Semenov
Bergeron-J.Smith
Syvret-D.Smith
Morrison/JDD
Notables from Calgary's morning skate include Phaneuf, Warrener, Regehr, Yelle, McCarty, Lombardi, Rhino and Kobasew. Krahn/Sauve to split time in net.
The lines are getting closer and closer to what we should see in the coming months. Calgary is sitting the ALI line, while Edmonton is playing 5 of it's top 6 forwards, so this *should* be a victory for Edmonton.. but who knows. Anything can and will happen in preseason!
I'll make the bold prediction of Edmonton 5 - Calgary 2, and Edmonton 2-0 in the shutout.

Semmy with Pronger. I read in the Sun today that Semmy better pull up his boot straps or someone will be replacing him. Sounds like MacT isn't overly impressed with his play.
Stastny isn't in the lineup, B? Is he still injured? I thought they would be giving him an opportunity to showcase his stuff.

Was talking to a guy last week, who went to school with Torres in Markham . Had lots of good things to say about Raffi, particularly his determination.
5-2 sounds about right.
4-0
FINAL.
:D
Pronger had a goal and an assist, and Torres won his fight. Good stuff.

Although it's preseason it's still nice to see Edmonton walk all ove Calgary. Or should I say skate circles around them. I still stand by my words that Calgary will have a much tougher time fighting for a playoff spot then Edmonton. Can't wait to see Edmonton?s first game

I don't know J.R, looked like Torres got the worse of that fight.

From the (very short) clip I saw it looked like a classic Cam Neely fight. Both guys were throwing bombs with no real care for anything but inflicting pain.
Pronger and Hemsky each with a goal and an assist. The powerplay is slowly but surely looking better as more and more cuts are made; and will be pivotal towards success this season. Calgary didn't dress the ALI line, but asides from that and Kipper, it was their full roster. Hopefully this is a preview ;)
.. in other words I agree with Max

Torres was the one coming out with blood coming from his face so thats why I gave the decision to the other guy.
