Even though you are critical of the way I post you old kook, you are still an alright guy KB. :)

Have a happy birthday and best wishes from this kook out on the island.

Thank you all. All in all things are very good. I just heard that my Uncle passed away this morning, so it kind of puts a damper on the day.

Happy Birthday. old-timer.
Here I thought I was the geezer of the boards, but I won't be 43 until next May.

Sorry about your uncle, though.
Were you close ?

On another note, I was in your beautiful town at the end of July, hope I didn't flip you the bird.

Thank you guys. It was my Uncle Pat, he was 82. He lived in England and was the last of my dad's six brothers. I saw him periodically over the years. He had been a trucker who delivered to various points around the North of England. I took a couple of trips with him and he always took time to visit historical sites and ruins. He served in the Royal Navy in World War 2 on a submarine, in the North Atlantic and the Mediterrean. He had a great story about they were off course and sank a German ship by accident, they got a Unit citation for it. My Mum and Dad are on a visit to the UK right now, so my Dad is helping my cousin make the arrangements. My brother in New York will catch a flight over tonight.
