I hear Smith played awful last year, and people are now suggesting he is an AHLer for life. Too bad, he at one time had a bit of hype that he would make the big squad. Hopefully he can turn out, or at least do some good on the farm.

The knock about Smith is his skating is too slow for the AHL, let alone the NHL. He has some decent skills but we all know you need to skate to make a name in the NHL (unless you're a goon)

Actually I think I should, this is now my 3rd correct prediciton in pre-season and I haven't made many others above the 3 correct.
