Had to get it off a Wild sight.
The Minnesota Wild couldn't hold on to a 2-1 second period lead and fell to the Phoenix Coyotes by a 3-2 score on the road at Glendale Arena. Despite the loss, the Wild did win the postgame shootout when Manny Fernandez turned aside all three Coyote attempts and Patrick O'Sullivan scored the lone Wild goal in the showcase. The two teams will square off again on Saturday night at the Xcel Energy Center.
All five goals were scored on the PP.
