What a :curse: joke. They hire that 'thing' to represent the great historic franchise that is the Canadiens? Youppi! should have been killed as well when the Expos died.

I understand that it would be hard for someone outside Montreal to know what Youppi represents for kids of all ages and that's why we see reactions such as the ones in this thread.
However, Youppi is an icon in Montreal and to see the face of the kids at childrens' hospitals, and at every marketing event where kids are involved is simply priceless.
Great move by the Canadiens to save a mascot who, for 25 years, has entertained and put smiles in fans' faces, young and old. :thumb:
