The Vikings had better put up a much better effort than they did against Tampa Bay. They play Cincinnati, which won't be very easy either. I think that the Viking offense will certainly have more success against a weaker Cincy "D", but Cincy has alot of weapons on offense. Rudi Johnson, Carson Palmer, Chad Johnson and T.J Houshmanzadeh can all hurt you and Winfield and Smoot had better be at their best on Sunday.
That Vikings vs Cinncy is going to be a good game to watch.Carson Palmer has really come into his own the last little while and has future superstar written all over him!The Vikings last week took some bad penalties with one costing them a touchdown.
My Cowboys play the Redskins on Monday night and I'll get to see Troy Aikman,Michael Irvin and Emmit Smith get inducted into the "Ring of Honour" before the game which should be something special! As for the game I anticipate it being a 3 point game as usual as these 2 play close games but the Redskins haven't won in Dallas in over 10 yrs and are 1-14 in the last 15 meetings and I'm like something has to give as this can't keep going on forever so I'm actually worried.Add on to the fact that the Redskins have one of the best "D's" in the game and they'll be blitzing like crazy along with the fact the Cowboys are coming off a huge win in San Diego and the 2nd week always means a letdown is coming.Anyways this will be a good low scoring game and hopefully the Cowboys pull it off!
Cheers

Life after Walker begins this weekend for the Pack. Driver will be starting at flanker, and Ferguson will move to split-end. If Chatman or rookie Terrance Murphy can step up in the slot we should be alright at receiver for the rest of the year. However, against a weaker Cleveland team I'd expect the running game to be a bigger factor than last week, since our defense should be able to hold up. Look for a big week out of Green.

Baltimore Ravens offense = pathetic
Also, I'm quite enjoying what's happening to Minny this season. Culpepper has already thrown 4 picks today. What happened to addition by subtraction to all of you who said getting rid of Moss was a good thing?

Does anyone else think the Bears can win the NFC North with their defense? If everybody stays healthy and they gets some solid running from Jones and Benson then a 10 win season might not be out of the question.

Yes and how are your Packers doing?
Yes and how are your Packers doing?
That whole NFC North is a joke. It's like the N.L. West all over again. ;)
As for arguably the best division, the Denver Broncos made a nice comeback from 3-14 down to beat the overrated San Diego 'not so super' Chargers on a Jason Elam field goal. Champ Bailey got things started with an interception returned for a TD. The 20-17 win puts the Broncos in the win column and dropping the Chargers to 0-2. :D
Also in the AFC West, this Sunday night game between Kansas City and Oakland is simply outstanding.

This is a good game, but the best play so far got called back. When Dante Hall just rolled over that defender to go for a TD, I was in shock. But a block in the back got called so the TD was negated.

How about the touchdown catch by Randy Moss that was called back because the defender signalled to the referee that Moss pushed off? Again a bad call.

Well, last week my lame ball went to the refs. It looks like they didn't get my post and I might just have to go complain to someone.

Yes and how are your Packers doing?
I'll admit, we're not doing much better. However, the Vikes were predicted by some to win the NFC this year, while the Packers were slotted third in the NFC North by most experts. Of course I'll be pissed if we actually do finish third, and it'll be hard to win the division when our defense gives up 60+ yard TDs to the frigging tight end, but on the offensive side of the ball at least our O-line should improve as rookie William Whitticker and converted tackle Adrian Klemm get some more time to mesh with the others. In Minny Matt Birk is gone for the season :p
Tomorrow night I'm looking forward to the Giants-Saints game. I'm hoping the Saints can pull another one out, and just maybe this is the season that extremely talented offense can put it all together and break out.
Also, I'm quite enjoying what's happening to Minny this season. Culpepper has already thrown 4 picks today. What happened to addition by subtraction to all of you who said getting rid of Moss was a good thing?
Quite frankly, I'm tired of hearing how the Vikings miss Randy Moss, and how they shouldn't have traded him. Yes, he's a great player to have when you're winning, but as soon as you start losing, he starts bitching and moaning. Moss wouldn't have helped the first two weeks of the season, mainly because Culpepper's decision making is horrible right now. For whatever reason, he's just not seeing the field so far this year.
The thing that has really disappointed me so far has been the lack of commitment to a running game. Granted, they've had to play from behind the first two weeks. I think they've run the ball somewhere around 30 times combined this year so far, and that's not going to get it done. Once it was 34-0 Cincinnati in the third quarter, the Vikings should have at least tried to build something for next week, rather than try to come back, and make things even worse. The offensive line hasn't clicked at all this year so far, and the receivers aren't helping Culpepper much either.
I think the biggest problem right now is that they're lacking an identity. They're trying too much to be the team they were last year, when they just don't have the same weapons available. No Moss, a couple of linemen in Birk and Dixon not playing, no Smith, etc. I just hope they figure this thing out soon, because next week is not going to be any easier against the Saints.
