Few things he mentioned..

#1) He really likes Schremp, and seems to think that Robbie could be on the team this year. Shocking considering he has a free season of Hunter; but I suppose if Rob can play at the NHL and help the team now, why not? He's talking about his defenisve ability saying that it's very under-rated.. nice to hear. Loves his shot, vision and ability to control a PP. "He has what it takes to be an NHL player as early as this year."

#2) He think's theres 4 players on this team with a shot at being a 75 point man. Horcoff, Dvorak, Peca, Hemsky. I think Hemmer can; I'd love to see Dvo do it, but I don't think he will with the minutes he'll play.. Peca and Horcoff are both possibilities depending on how they're used.

#3) If one of those guys aren't on pace for 75 points, we'll have to get someone who is.

Found a download for it..

Talked about Messier for a while, talked about his best Messier memory (the guarenteed win). Along with game 4 in Chicago 1990.

Lots of competition for the bottom line including Schremp, Harvey, Pouliot, Statsny and Stoll.

Very high on Pouliot and Statsny. Puck savy and grit were two words he liked to throw around when talking about the two of them. Loved Pouliot's goal. Said Pouliot and Schremp both have world class shots.

Says the new rules will have an impact on the game bigger than anyone can imagine. Due to the rules it's greatly changing the TC focus to tactics. They want to cut down much quicker than in years past; 40 to 42 for the first 4, almost cut it in half for the last 4.

Loves Horcoff's game.. nothing new; raved about Peca as well. Stated the players will decide who the "#1" is.

Would like Pronger to play on the right side early, mentioned Staios and Semenov as guys he'd like to play with Chris. "Semi's gotta have a good camp, we're expecting him to make an improvement." "Cory Cross is a guy who's forgotten, but we respect the way he plays." "Chris will most likely play both sides, so we have a lot of possibilites and see where the chemistry lies." "I think we'd like to try and have Bergeron and Jason Smith together."

Says Pronger should help the PP a ton. Says that MAB was a PPG player the last 15 games, has a lot of faith in him. Believes Hemsky should help the PP a ton and will get a ton of oppertunities. "The powerplay will be better."

"There's pressure on every coach in the league to play an upbeat, exciting style of play."

Guys who stood out at rookie camp: Schremp, Statsny, guys who outright surprised him were Colton Yellowhorn, J.F. Jacques, Zach Storitini, after thought mentioend Greene and Syvret were very good.

Likes the goaltending, thinks its a well kept secret. Last 15 or so games said he had exceptional goaltending. Likes the idea of a tandem to keep both motivated. They were worried they were going to lose Jussi to Russia. Jussi is hurt heading into TC, so there's an oppertunity for a third goalie to start the season -> JDD; but Morrison and even Dubnyk are possibilities.

"We're excited about what Hemsky did last year, as long as he's scoring more than being scored against we'll turn him loose. His year afforded us the ability to trade Mike York. We're very high on Hemsky. He looks likes he's very capable of delivering the goods for us."

"Defense is our strongest point. Toughness and mobility. Clutchers and grabbers are going to suffer. All the guys on our backend can skate very well. Goal in my mind is a strong position as well, both goalies are very capable. WE have a lot of depth in the forward ranks. Our biggest question is if we have a 70-75 point scorer. Hemsky? Horcoff? Dvorak? Peca? We're going to need one, who's going to be that guy? Or are we going to have to go out later to acquie that piece. We have the ability to go pick it up if no one develops into it."

"A lot of years we've subtracted from oru team, this year we've added two significant peices. It's a change in mentality that we now have a Hart, Norris and Selke winner on the team. We had a good team to begin with, combine that with youth and the realistic expectation that those players will be better than when we last played. We're excited."
