I'm wondering whether or not to just forget my little plannned NHL boycott and buy some tickets.

There is a little insert in the Ottawa Citizen tofay that says tickets for October to December games go on sale at 10am September 17th. Tickets for January to April games go on sale at 10am November 19th.

I am never on the ball about these things. So my question is... if I book some tickets online with capitaltickets.ca at 10:01 next Saturday do I have a better chance of getting tickets to a game like a Leafs or Habs game? Anybody know?

Thanks.

I don't know. The only way to get tickets in this town is to trade something that you really like or really need for them. Money sometimes still works for a few of the South Western team visits. But, good luck and stuff. =]

I suggest you use TicketMaster.ca. Create an account now though, so you don't have to worry about that stuff when it comes to the time that the tickets go on sale. I suggest you plop down at the computer at 9:30 am to make sure you're logged in and have your credit card beside you. Then at 10:00 am, click refresh and start searching for tickets. Find the ones you want and pay for them right away or they'll be released.

No Leaf tickets? That is too bad. They should have built the ACC for 35,000. But since they didn't... I could make up a series of amusing jokes about this problem featuring "suits" and their abuse of sparkling water beverages. Perrier, the silent killer. You could drive to Columbus or Buffalo. Or Nashville. You could sell one of your livers. You could move. :]

J.R. has the right ticket getting recipe.

Why didn't they build the ACC to house 35 000? I've always wanted to know why they keep it just under 20. Wouldn't more seats be a very safe investment?
