They're playing in the easiest division in the easier conference. Need not look any further than their strength of schedule (.405). I'm not surprised, considering they do have the best running back in football. Now I'm hoping they don't choke when the playoffs roll around, because I've got a bet with a buddy that Seattle will win at least one playoff game this season.

It seems like Denver has had a soft schedule as well, yet have lost 3 times, not good, not at all. :D

How do the Seahawks have an that easy of a schedule, and you still think that Alexander is the best RB in football??? The offense that Holmgren has surrounded him with is very good, whereas that entire Chargers offense is based and built off the production of LaDainian Tomlinson.
The AFC South looks really easy as well. AFC East looks like a walk in the park.Nothing beats playing against the Cardinals twice, 49ers twice and Rams twice.
It seems like Denver has had a soft schedule as well, yet have lost 3 times, not good, not at all. :DThey play in the toughest division in football and have a strength of schedule of .515, already beating the Patriots, Eagles (with McNabb and T.O.), Chargers, Jaguars, Chiefs and Cowboys. They also have the greatest strength of victory (.492) among playoff teams in the entire NFL.
http://www.nfl.com/standings/conference
that entire Chargers offense is based and built off the production of LaDainian Tomlinson.I do hear a lot of people chirping on how great Drew Brees and Antonio Gates ("greatest tight end in football") is, yet they lose to the Dolphins - AT HOME. I'd think a team that has the "best running back" and "best tight end" would be better than 8-5, on the outside looking into the playoffs.

I'm not a big NFL fan so this may seem like a stupid question to some but why are there some NFL games today? It's a Saturday. Is it to do with the Christmas holidays, are they trying to increase the NFL TV coverage, or do the TV networks ask for some Saturday games before Christmas?

There have traditionally been Saturday games in late December, most of the"big College" teams are resting up for the late December early January bowl games. College basletball is not really happeneing and no one cares about the NBA, NASCAR is gearing up for the Daytona 500 and it is to cold to golf so they need to air something and the NFL fits the bill.

Guess who won again yesterday? They are from the Northwest United States. Everyone's favourite to win the Super Bowl. That's right, the Seattle Seahawks came from behind to beat the Tennessee Titans. Seahawks all the way. woooooo :D :wicked: :talkhand: :D

Too bad for the Seahawks, the Bears put Rex Grossman in. Now, I truly think they will make it to the Super Bowl. That defense is too suffocating and Grossman can actually command the offense.

- There were seven participants who picked in every week. They are Amoroq, Bob burns, Canucklehead, J.R., Leafs_Fa_Life, LiAmTrAnSdEmOn and MadDevil.
- Of those, only Leafs_Fa_Life and LiAmTrAnSdEmOn failed to win a week.
- MadDevil thrilled us with his Picking ability in Week Thirteen going a perfect 16-0.
- In the ten weeks that Max Power made Picks, he won half of those weeks and took home the most weeks won title.
- Ten of the 17 total participants managed to win a week.
- Leafs_Fa_Life was the only participant to reach 100 losses with a total of 120 (I've seen worse ;)).
- The worse week by a participant was in Week Two by MadDevil as he went 5-11.
Now go make your NFL Playoff Picks (http://hockeystation.com/showthread.php?t=2238).

Thanks for setting this up JR I enjoyed joining in
Although I must admit I'm sure my winning % would have been a little bit lower if I would have started from the beginning. The first two weeks are usually the toughest to pick
