New skin

In case you missed it in the vBulletin help and tips (http://www.hockeystation.com/forumdisplay.php?f=59) thread. A new skin has been added. There will be more to follow in the future. This first one is similar to the current layout, but has a blue / gray color scheme.

check it out by scrolling to the bottom left of any page... you'll see skin choices in a drop down menu. :thumb:

I like the skin but im still sticking with the red one.

I may use the new other sooner or later.

There has been another skin choice added.

Again this is merely a sub-style of the default layout, with a different color scheme. I named this one "green" (how original)

Eventually I may look into real "skins"... completely different layouts, but that's not a priority at the moment. What we have now are sub-styles of the default layout. I will probably put a few more of these together before worrying about 3rd party skins.

OK I have added the first "skin" that is not simply a sub style - (color scheme change) - of the default home page.

It's called "Silver".

I plan to add two more (pale bule and deep blue) which I think are both pleasing to the eye. After that I may give skins a rest for a while. If you have an urgent skin request, then PM me.... Most likely I'll tell you to blow it out yer a$$.... but if the skin is really nice I might make an exception just for you. (don't hold your breath)

I just noticed that the silver looks much better in Internet Explorer than it does in FireFox. I recommend if people want to use the Silver style, use internet explorer as your browser.

As I said there's a few more on the way, as well as a bit of tinkering to be done with the existing skins we have. :)

Just tried on my new skin Matt... thanks. It puts me in the Leaf spirit, while still saying "I'm a real person with feelings too".

OK all you relentless skin freaks... I have added yet another (deep blue). It is the only dark themed skin we have.

That's all the skins I'm adding for the near future.

If you come across a "must have" skin. PM it to me for consideration. I'll tell you in advance that I won't add "futuristic" skins with lots of fancy imagery, as that will increase bandwidth (which costs $$$).

Hopefully by now... everybody has found a skin that is pleasing to their eye. :thumb:

I'm on the silver one..it looks ok..although some of these big-city skins could be cool to see also.
