Not a bad depth move. Brings speed. To make $750,000

Would be a decent third liner for the 'Nucks. Also takes away some speed from a division rival.

Yeah, its an alright move for depth, and to add speed to the lineup.
He isn't bad, but not very physical. I would have preferred Nonis to add Orszagh for this sort of role
But still
Park-Chubarov-Cooke
doesn't look so bad for a 3rd line

So Richard Park was the missing piece to the puzzle? Huh, here we come now Lord Stanley...

Yeah, but who wasn't a threat to the canucks during that series? Walz and Brunette also come to mind
I think he will do well in the new NHL, and thats probably why Nonis signed him.

I guess it's safe to say that Nonis likes Dick.

Why is SNet reporting that Park is a defenseman???
I think it was a decent move by the Nucks, brings some speed and skill to the table and can score a few goals in the process. And for only 750 Gs a year... decent signing :thumb:
Actually wasn't he [Park] the guy who scored the OT winner in the 03 playoffs that put the Avs out of the playoffs?I thought that was Andrew Brunette - ending Patrick Roy's career. He was signed by the Avalanche just the other day too. Interesting twist of events.

I'd like to rephrase my original post, Nonis likes 'cheap' Dick.
