It was a sight many fans never thought they would see again, until now. Bret Hart and Vince McMahon met face to face today before shooting began for the upcoming DVD chronicling the Hit Man's career.

During shooting, McMahon and Hart both talked about Bret's beginnings, SummerSlam 1992, the historic Owen Hart-Bret Hart rivalry, Stone Cold Steve Austin, the infamous Montreal incident, Bret's jump to WCW and much more.

Afterwards, the Hit Man said he was "happy with how everything went today," regarding the Bret Hart-WWE joint production.

Well, that IS a sight, isn't it? McMahon can be a snake when he wants to, and I don't think anybody in their right mind would do well to trust him, but it's good for Hart to just move on, and get over the bitterness he felt over the entire incident in Montreal.

Both Hart and McMahon felt a strong need to protect something essential to them: for Hart, his legacy; and McMahon, hs bread and butter. His World title. Still, there had to be a better way for McMahon to settle it than doing it the way he did. It must be noted that, in his own shrewd way, McMahon really used his resulting image to make tons and tons of money with his Mr. McMahon persona.

I've heard rumors abot this for a long time, but I am shocked to see that the day has finally come. I remember how the Hit Man and the WWF parted ways and it certainly wasn't pretty.

This must be the year of the impossible coming true: Pink Floyd reuniting, Red Sox win World Series.
