I don't know what his health is like, but he'd be a fantastic pickup for Pittsburgh (or anybody). And his salary wouldn't be included in the $39 cap. I wonder if Scotty'd be able to adjust to the new NHL? I wonder ...

Yeah? I've actually heard some rumblings that the Leafs have been trying to coax him out of retirement by sending him cases of Jagrmeister.
So that's why Fergy's been sending over wine in beer bottles. We both thought it was some kind of practical joke. I can't wait to tell him. The leafs ... man he's gonna laugh.
