Yes sir. I don't like it. Too many teams from the west are bulking up now. That's Phoenix, Anaheim, LA, and some more that I've forgotten about (nudges PDO). A lot of good competition means it might take the Canucks a little bit longer than expected to hit the 120 point mark this season. O well, should be fun. :]

So in LA one of the media capitals of the western world, I wonder how long it will take before JR's act gets stale, again!

I heard it fell thru last night, because the Flyers asked for too much..ie: Frolov and someone else
But, this makes LA a stronger team.
Demitra-Roenick-Perhaps Palffy or Kariya?
Not bad at all
Demitra must be playing wing in LA, they have Conroy and J.R. to man their top 2 lines.
Does this seal the deal that Palffy won't play in LA? They must be nearing that cap...

No, Edmonton won't sign him :D

I don't want him because he wants a 5 year contract, and while right now he's a great player; 3 years from now he won't have the speed to warrant those big dollars he's getting.
Bulk up West, bulk up! :D If Tampa loses Khabibulin and Hasek pans out the only obstcle in the Sens way is Philly (assuming we play to our abilities in the post season). And if the Dominator finds his form I like our roster better than theirs by a slim but quite clear margin.

Actually, I read that Demitra was recruiting Palffy back to LA
Palffy and Visnovsky(both slovak players) both said good things to get Demitra to Los Angeles
Wouldn't be surprised at all to see Palffy resign. They would once again be a powerful team, and deep too

They'd all be in the hospital by November anyway.
