I don't think its going to happen, but I just read it from Eklund.. and he's on a fluky roll lately.

Apparently Simon Gagne is going to be part of a trade to make up cap space. Does Gagne even make that much? Clarke said he was done with respect to free agents, but he's contradicted himself many many times before. So... what do you think?

Well Gagne isn't even signed so he isn't counting towards the cap as far as I know, what was his qualifying offer? More important to signing Forsberg is signing Esche. He needs to sign him, without a quality goalie, even with the addition of Foppa, they don't have a chance in the east. But if this gets done, and Clarke signs Esche, this is now the team to beat in the East.

I disagree. Boston is looking awesome this year. IF Philly got Forseberg, then it'd be close, but Boston had cleaned up the free agents.
